Good Adventures & Handmade Pie

Written by Tyson Baker I left Visalia and headed towards Mineral King for a spontaneous backpacking trip with two friends of mine, Bruno and Connor. The adventure began with loading up a tiny Toyota Prius with all of our gear piled in the back and heading east up Highway 198. We have decided to create a space where we can share longer stories, histories, adventures, and more from a variety of voices that love Mineral King and the surrounding area.
